The Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Local Government, Mr. Khalid Hyder Shah, chaired a progress review meeting for the Karachi Water and Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP) today. The meeting was attended by senior management and consultants from the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), including Project Director Mr. Muhammad Usman Moazzam, who delivered a comprehensive presentation on the progress of KWSSIP Phase 1.
The presentation highlighted both the financial and physical progress achieved in the various projects undertaken under Phase 1 of KWSSIP. Key accomplishments, challenges, and ongoing efforts to enhance Karachi’s water supply and sewerage infrastructure were discussed in detail.
During the meeting, the ACS emphasized the importance of maintaining timely execution of all initiatives. He commended the efforts of the PIU team and consultants for their dedication to the project, which is instrumental in improving the quality of life for Karachi’s citizens.
