The Karachi Water and Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP) is a large-scale infrastructure reform initiative working to deliver safe, reliable water and sewerage services to Karachi, especially underserved neighbourhoods. Our work is on:
Better services: Establishing customer service centers in every district for faster resolution of water and sewerage complaints
Upgraded infrastructure: Replacing aging water lines and rehabilitating sewer networks using trenchless technology to minimize disruption
A stronger KWSC: Building the financial and operational capacity of KW&SC to reduce losses, improve billing, and lower running costs
Inclusive access: Progressively extending services to informal settlements through dedicated community engagement and locally run organizations
