A fully capable Project Implementation Unit, headed by the Project Director, has been setup to build KWSC’s long-term capacity to plan and manage major, externally financed interventions, consisting primarily of existing, and permanent KWSC staff; to mitigate weaknesses in certain specialized areas, KWSSIP has also recruited selected consultants to the PIU to strengthen project preparation and implementation.
