Provincial Minister and Additional Chief Secretary Local Government Department Visits PIU-KWSSIP

Today, the Honorable Minister for Local Government and Town Planning, Mr. Saeed Ghani, along with Additional Chief Secretary of the Local Government Department, Mr. Khalid Hyder Shah, paid a visit to the Project Implementation Unit of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Services Improvement Project. During this visit, the Project Director-KWSSIP Mr. Muhammad Usman Moazzam presented a detailed overview of the project’s progress, showcasing the significant achievements and ongoing work under KWSSIP. The PIU team was also present to provide technical updates and insights. Key discussions included the updates on institutional reforms, details of emergency works, a comprehensive presentation on the K-IV Augmentation project involving all relevant officials from KWSC and KWSSIP, and the forthcoming meeting of the Project Steering Committee. This visit highlighted the ongoing efforts and commitment to advancing the project and addressing critical issues to ensure its successful implementation.
